Job Summary

The DevOps Engineer will be responsible for the integration of software development and IT operations, utilizing DevOps tools and technologies to streamline and enhance deployment and management processes. This role aims to foster collaboration between cross-functional teams and support the achievement of project goals in a timely manner.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical expertise in software development, IT operations, and DevOps tools and technologies.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, employing agile methodologies for workflow.
• Manage cloud-based infrastructure, ensuring security best practices are implemented throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Utilize Kubernetes and Docker for container orchestration and deployment management.
• Develop automation scripts and reusable Python modules for tooling and API integration.
• Employ monitoring and observability tools, such as Dynatrace, Prometheus, and Grafana, to build dashboards and alerting rules.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, preferably in a related field.
• 7 to 9 years of technical experience as a DevOps Engineer or Site Reliability Engineer (SRE).
• Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with:
  • Kubernetes/Docker (build and management)
  • Ansible Tower
  • Git repository management
  • Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) tools, specifically Jenkins
  • Python development
  • Linux/Windows server administration
  • SQL databases (MS SQL, Postgres)
  • Monitoring tools (Dynatrace/Prometheus/Grafana)
  • Logging tools (Splunk/Kibana)
• Proficient in English with good interpersonal and communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of the ITIL framework.
• Skills in Linux and Windows operating systems.
• Experience with documentation practices.
• Network expertise.

Experience

• 7 to 9 years of relevant experience in software development and IT operations related to the DevOps field.
