Job Summary

The Senior Infra Engineer is responsible for leveraging extensive networking and infrastructure expertise to enhance the company’s IT environment. This role focuses on maintaining and implementing advanced networking technologies and services, ensuring both performance and security of the systems, while contributing to the organization’s overall operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Utilize in-depth experience in Palo Alto for network security configurations and enhancements.
• Manage and support expert-level networking technologies including Cisco ACI, Nexus/Catalyst, and AVI Load Balancer.
• Implement micro-segmentation strategies using ACI and NSX for improved network security.
• Oversee infrastructure related to Cisco UCS and execute telecom networking tasks with a preference for i3 technology.
• Hands-on management of Storage Technologies like Pure and Cohesity.
• Architect, deploy, and support technologies over Microsoft Azure Networking platforms.
• Develop and implement scripts and automation via tools such as PowerShell, Python, Puppet/Chef, Ansible, and Terraform.
• Conduct enterprise-level patch and vulnerability management, while adhering to change management and ITSM practices.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Experience:
  • Minimum of 6 years in network and infrastructure engineering.
  • Solid experience in managing identity providers and federated identity services including Microsoft ADFS, SAML 2.0, and Azure Authentication.
• Technical Skills:
  • Expertise in Palo Alto technologies and configurations.
  • Proficiency in network technologies: Cisco ACI, Nexus/Catalyst.
  • Hands-on experience in micro-segmentation (ACI/NSX).
  • Strong background in telecommunications and networking.
  • Practical knowledge in storage technologies (Pure, Cohesity).
  • Familiar with cloud-based platforms and networking, especially Microsoft Azure.
  • Knowledge of scripting and automation technologies (PowerShell, Python, etc.).
  • Understanding of ITSM and change management frameworks.

Preferred Skills

• Advanced certifications in relevant technologies (e.g., CCNP, Palo Alto Networks Professional).
• Experience with orchestration and automation tools.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies in infrastructure projects.

Experience

• A minimum of 6 years relevant experience in network and infrastructure engineering roles.

Environment

• Location: Opportunities available in Bangalore, Mumbai, Thiruvananthapuram (TVM), and Kochi.
• Work Model: Hybrid mode allowing flexibility in remote and on-site work.
