Tech Lead

Job Summary

We’re looking for a Tech Lead with deep expertise in Python, Django, and scalable backend systems to lead high-impact AI and data-driven projects. The ideal candidate will have experience managing cross-functional teams, architecting cloud-native solutions, and delivering projects for enterprise clients in fast-paced, agile environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of scalable backend architectures using Python, Django, and REST APIs.
• Manage and mentor a team of engineers to deliver robust, production-grade solutions.
• Oversee AI/ML post-training pipelines, data workflows, and automation processes.
• Collaborate with product managers, AI scientists, and DevOps teams to define scope, architecture, and delivery timelines.
• Ensure high system performance, data security, and compliance (OAuth2, JWT, GDPR, etc.).
• Optimize database queries (MySQL/PostgreSQL/MongoDB) for high-volume and real-time data systems.
• Drive continuous improvement through code reviews, agile sprint planning, and process automation.
• Act as a technical point of contact for client interactions, ensuring smooth communication and delivery alignment.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in: Python, Django / Django REST Framework, SQL, MongoDB.
• Experienced with: RESTful API design, ETL pipelines, and automation scripting.
• Cloud platforms: AWS / GCP (S3, Lambda, EC2, API Gateway).
• Tools: Git, CI/CD, Docker (preferred).
• Practices: Agile/Scrum, performance optimization, testing (unit/integration).
• Education: B.Tech in Computer Science, IT, or a related discipline.
• Experience: 4–6 years of total experience, with at least 1 year in a leadership or mentorship role.

Preferred Skills

• 1–2 years of team leadership or project management in a product or service-based setup.
• Exposure to AI/ML lifecycle operations (RLHF, model evaluation, or post-training workflows).
• Proven record of improving delivery throughput, quality, and system scalability.

Experience

• 4–6 years of total experience, with a minimum of 1 year in a leadership or mentorship role.
