Job Summary

We are looking for a dynamic and result-oriented Business Analyst to join our Medium Enterprises (ME) team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing and managing a portfolio of clients with turnover ranging from ₹100 Cr to ₹500 Cr, maintaining portfolio hygiene, and actively engaging in cross-selling financial products. This role contributes to the organization's goals by enhancing client relationships and driving business growth.

Responsibilities

  • Client Acquisition (NTB): Source new-to-bank (NTB) clients in the medium enterprise segment with turnover between ₹100 Cr to ₹500 Cr. Identify opportunities through market intelligence, references, and industry networking.
  • Portfolio Management: Manage and deepen relationships with the existing client portfolio. Engage regularly with clients to ensure satisfaction and retention.
  • Credit Note Preparation: Conduct financial analysis and prepare detailed credit notes for new and existing clients. Evaluate risk and structure proposals in line with the bank’s credit policies.
  • Sanction Process & Stakeholder Coordination: Liaise with internal credit teams for proposal discussions and approvals. Communicate effectively with clients to understand their financial needs and ensure alignment with product offerings.
  • Portfolio Hygiene: Ensure timely renewals, limit compliance, documentation, and monitoring of early warning signals. Maintain high asset quality and minimize delinquencies.
  • Cross-Selling: Identify and capitalize on cross-sell opportunities across products such as trade finance, treasury, cash management, insurance, and working capital solutions.

Qualifications

  • Graduate/Postgraduate in Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
  • 3–4 years of experience in corporate, Small and Medium Enterprises (SME), or Medium Enterprises (ME) banking.
  • Strong understanding of credit analysis and financial statements.
  • Excellent relationship management and communication skills.
  • Proven ability to drive business and manage risk effectively.

Preferred Skills

  • Familiarity with financial products and services.
  • Knowledge of banking regulations and compliance standards.

Experience

  • 3–4 years of relevant experience in banking for corporate, SME, or ME sectors.
