Job Summary

We are seeking experienced Azure Data Engineers with strong expertise in modern data platforms and cloud technologies. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with Azure Databricks, Azure Data Factory (ADF), SQL, Snowflake, Python, and traditional ETL/Data Warehousing concepts. This role is crucial for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable data solutions that meet the organization's data needs.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines using Azure Data Factory and Databricks.
• Perform data ingestion, transformation, and orchestration using Spark and Python.
• Develop and optimize complex SQL queries for data transformation and reporting.
• Integrate with Snowflake and other cloud data platforms for advanced analytics.
• Collaborate with data architects, analysts, and business teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.
• Monitor and troubleshoot performance and reliability issues in data pipelines.
• Ensure data quality, consistency, and security across the data lifecycle.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in data engineering or related roles.
• Strong hands-on experience with:
  • Azure Databricks (Spark-based transformations)
  • Azure Data Factory (ADF pipelines, triggers, integration runtime)
  • SQL (T-SQL/PL-SQL)
  • Python (for scripting and data processing)
  • ETL tools and Data Warehousing (DWH) concepts
  • Snowflake
• Experience with version control tools like Git and CI/CD practices.
• Good understanding of data modeling, partitioning, and performance tuning.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of Azure Synapse, Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS), Power BI.
• Experience working in Agile delivery environments.
• Azure Data Engineer Associate or equivalent certification.

Experience

• A minimum of 5 years in data engineering or related roles is required.
