Job Summary

The Github Enterprise Installation specialist will be responsible for the setup, administration, and ongoing management of Github Enterprise environments. This role requires a strong technical background in Github Enterprise, including installation, configuration, and administration, as well as experience with Github Actions. The specialist will play a key role in enabling the organization's development teams to leverage Github Enterprise effectively and securely.

Responsibilities

• Install and configure Github Enterprise environments for the organization.
• Administer and manage Github Enterprise, including user and repository management.
• Implement and maintain Github Actions for automation, CI/CD, and workflow optimization.
• Ensure security, compliance, and best practices in source code management.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Github Enterprise and Github Actions.
• Collaborate with development and IT teams to integrate Github Enterprise with other tools and systems.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with Github Enterprise installation and administration.
• Proficient in Github Actions and automation workflows.
• Strong understanding of source code management and version control best practices.
• Experience with user and permissions management in Github Enterprise.
• Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (preferred).

Preferred Skills

• Experience integrating Github Enterprise with CI/CD pipelines and other DevOps tools.
• Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python, PowerShell).
• Familiarity with security and compliance requirements in enterprise environments.
• Certification in GitHub Administration or related DevOps certifications.

Experience

• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in Github Enterprise installation, administration, and workflow management.

• Work Location: Bangalore (on-site/in-office).
