Job Summary
The PMI (Post-Merger Integration) intern will support the integration of business operations following mergers or acquisitions. The role is designed to assist in managing and executing due diligence, advisory, and value creation tasks that ensure successful transitions. Interns will work directly with experienced professionals to gain exposure to the full lifecycle of M&A integrations, contributing to the achievement of seamless business unification and strategic goals.
Responsibilities
- Assist in conducting pre-deal due diligence to identify potential integration challenges and opportunities.
- Support the sell-side advisory process by preparing reports, presentations, and key documentation.
- Collaborate in the identification and execution of value creation initiatives post-merger.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to facilitate integration activities across business units.
- Participate in meetings with stakeholders and provide insights based on research and analysis.
- Assist in tracking progress of integration projects and preparing status updates for management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field (or currently pursuing).
- Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in M&A, consulting, finance, or related areas.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- High degree of professionalism and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with post-merger integration processes.
- Familiarity with financial modeling and analysis.
- Exposure to project management tools or methodologies.
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
Experience
- Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in pre-deal due diligence, sell-side advisory, value creation, or related fields.

Salary
- ₹15,000 – ₹40,000 per month (internship stipend).
