Role Overview:
As an Area Sales Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving sales growth, building robust customer relationships, and overseeing the performance of our commercial vehicle sales operations within your assigned territory. This is a high-impact position requiring a strategic mindset, industry expertise, and a passion for electric mobility.
 
Key Responsibilities:
1.
Sales Strategy & Execution:
o
Develop and implement regional sales plans to achieve organizational revenue and growth targets.
o
Identify and explore new business opportunities to expand market presence.
2.
Customer Engagement & Relationship Management:
o
Build and nurture relationships with key customers, fleet operators, and stakeholders.
o
Deliver exceptional customer service, addressing queries and ensuring satisfaction.
3.
Market Analysis & Insights:
o
Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to identify opportunities and threats.
o
Provide data-driven insights to the leadership team to guide decision-making.
4.
Team Collaboration & Leadership:
o
Work closely with dealership teams to ensure smooth showroom operations and effective customer engagement.
o
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, service, and supply chain for seamless operations.
5.
Performance Metrics:
o
Track and report key performance indicators (KPIs) including sales volume, market share, and profitability for the assigned region.
 
Qualifications & Skills:

Experience: 6-12 years in sales, with a focus on commercial vehicles (3-wheeler/4-wheeler sub-1-tonne category).

Regional Expertise: Proficiency in the local language of the assigned region is mandatory.

Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of the commercial vehicle market, including SCV, LCV, and passenger vehicles.

Strategic Skills: Experience in developing and executing go-to-market strategies.

Network Development: Proven ability to expand and manage dealer and distribution networks.

Education: Master’s degree in business administration or a related field is preferred.
