Sr QA engineer: Web testing

UI Testing, Agile, Jira, Finance Domain (preferred)

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced functional tester to join our team of web

application developers. As a functional tester, your primary responsibility will be to

ensure that all web applications developed by the team meet the functional

requirements specified by our clients.

Responsibilities:

 Collaborate with developers and product managers to understand the functional

requirements for web applications and develop test cases accordingly.

 Perform functional testing of web applications to ensure that all requirements are

met.

 Document defects and work with developers to troubleshoot and resolve them.

 Ensure that all test cases are executed and results are recorded accurately.

 Work with project managers to prioritize defects and ensure that they are

resolved in a timely manner.

 Communicate effectively with project teams to ensure that all testing activities are

completed on schedule.

Requirements:

 At least 5 years of experience in functional testing of web applications

 Strong knowledge of web application testing methodologies and best practices

 Able to use Chrome DevTools for deeper debugging of issues

 Basic SQL knowledge is preferred.

 Excellent communication skills

 Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

 Experience working with Azure DevOps or JIRA Xray for test management

 Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

 Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

 Excellent time-management and organizational skills.
