Software Development Engineer 4

Job Summary

The Software Development Engineer 4 will play a critical role in developing and maintaining applications on the ServiceNow platform. This position requires extensive experience and expertise in various domains of ServiceNow, contributing to the organization’s goals by delivering high-quality, scalable solutions.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement applications on the ServiceNow platform, ensuring they meet business requirements.
• Utilize scripting languages such as GlideScript and JavaScript to enhance application functionality.
• Design and manage workflows using Flow Designer and IntegrationHub Spokes.
• Build resilient and scalable applications in a multi-instance, globally distributed environment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate ServiceNow solutions with other cloud services.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of ServiceNow best practices and emerging technologies.

Qualifications

• Experience: 7+ years of experience with the ServiceNow platform.
• Domains: Deep knowledge in at least 3 domains such as IT Service Management (ITSM), IT Operations Management (ITOM), Human Resources Service Delivery (HRSD), Customer Service Management (CSM), and Application Engine.
• Scripting: Proficiency in GlideScript and JavaScript.
• Certifications: ServiceNow Certified Application Developer and at least two Certified Implementation Specialist credentials.
• Environment: Experience in a multi-cloud and DevSecOps environment is a strong advantage.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and project management tools.
• Experience with ServiceNow Performance Analytics and Reporting.
• Knowledge of ITIL framework and best practices.

Experience

• Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in software development and ServiceNow platform.
