Oracle Fusion Solution/System Architect

Job Summary

The Oracle Fusion Solution/System Architect plays a pivotal role in designing and implementing integrated solutions utilizing various Oracle platforms including Oracle Fusion, Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS), Warehouse Management System (WMS), and Oracle Transportation Management (OTM). This position is crucial in ensuring that complex business requirements are met through effective architecture and design, while maintaining alignment with existing systems.

Responsibilities

  • Solution Design and Architecture: Lead the architecture and design of integrated solutions across platforms; develop and maintain current state processes and future state architectural roadmaps.
  • Implementation and Project Management: Serve as the solution design lead during Oracle Fusion implementations and EBS upgrades, defining technical and functional requirements, and overseeing testing and deployment.
  • Integration and Data Management: Define strategies for data migration between Oracle Fusion and EBS to ensure data integrity; collaborate with specialists to develop APIs for seamless connectivity.
  • Governance and Standards: Develop and enforce architectural standards and best practices; ensure compliance with security and regulatory requirements.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration and Communication: Act as a trusted advisor, leading workshops to gather requirements and providing technical leadership and mentorship to team members.

Qualifications

  • Technical Expertise:

    • Strong expertise in Oracle Fusion Cloud Applications (ERP, HCM, SCM).
    • In-depth experience with Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) modules, including Financials and HRMS.
    • Proven ability to effectively integrate Oracle Fusion and EBS systems.
    • Familiarity with middleware technologies like Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) and SOA Suite.
    • Expertise in data migration tools and reporting tools utilizing Oracle technologies.
  • Architectural Knowledge:

    • Understanding of enterprise architecture frameworks and methodologies.
    • Proficient in designing scalable and secure IT solutions.
    • Knowledge of cloud-native and hybrid architecture principles.
  • Business Acumen:

    • Experience analyzing and documenting business processes and requirements; ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
  • Additional Skills:

    • Strong project management skills and organizational abilities.
    • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
    • Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Skills

  • Oracle Fusion Cloud Certification (ERP, HCM, or SCM).
  • Oracle EBS R12 Certification.
  • Familiarity with Agile or Waterfall project methodologies.
  • Experience in multi-country or global implementations.

Experience

  • Minimum of 13 years of relevant experience in systems and solution architecture.
