Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Budget Management:

- Maintain and oversee the budgetary process for various departments.
- Collaborate with department heads to develop annual, monthly and quarterly budgets and financial plans.
- Monitor budget performance throughout the fiscal year, identifying variances and addressing discrepancies.
Expense Analysis:
- Conduct regular reviews of departmental expenses to identify areas for improvement and cost optimization.
- Compare actual expenses against budgeted figures, and analyze the root causes of variances.
- Provide insights and recommendations for reducing or optimizing expenses.
Financial Reporting:
- Prepare and distribute detailed reports on departmental budget performance to management and relevant stakeholders.
- Offer clear, data-driven explanations for budget variances and propose actionable solutions.
- Forecasting and Planning:
- Assist in forecasting future departmental expenses based on historical data and current trends.
- Collaborate with department heads to adjust budgets and financial plans as needed.
- Compliance and Policy Adherence:
- Ensure that departmental spending aligns with organizational policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Identify any areas of non-compliance and work with department heads to rectify them
