Job Summary

The Senior Data Scientist will play a pivotal role in leveraging advanced analytics, machine learning, and statistical modeling to generate actionable insights for strategic business decisions. As a Senior Data Scientist, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement data-driven solutions that solve complex business challenges and drive organizational growth.

Responsibilities

• Analyze large and complex data sets to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for business improvement.
• Design, develop, and implement machine learning models and algorithms to address business problems.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and business teams to translate requirements into analytical solutions.
• Communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders through reports, dashboards, and presentations.
• Ensure data quality and integrity throughout the analytics lifecycle.
• Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in data science and analytics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R.
• Expertise in data manipulation and analysis using libraries like Pandas, NumPy, or similar tools.
• Experience with machine learning frameworks (e.g., scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch).
• Solid understanding of statistical modeling, hypothesis testing, and data visualization.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform).
• Familiarity with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, or Hive.
• Knowledge of deep learning techniques and neural networks.
• Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or matplotlib/seaborn.
• Exposure to MLOps and deployment of models in production environments.
• Domain expertise relevant to the industry (e.g., finance, healthcare, retail).
• Skills in Natural Language Processing and Generative AI.

Experience

• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in data science, analytics, or a related field.
• Demonstrated experience in delivering end-to-end data science projects.
• Proven track record of working with large datasets and building scalable solutions.

• Full-time position.
• Work locations available in Chennai, Bangalore, Pune, and Coimbatore.
• Typical office environment; potential for hybrid or flexible work arrangements depending on company policy.

Salary

• Estimated salary range: ₹5,00,000 – ₹15,00,000 per annum (based on skills and experience).
