Founding Product Manager

Job Summary

The Founding Product Owner will lead the development of the core product experience, including the user interface, onboarding process, and support systems. The candidate will work directly with the founder, customers, and engineering teams to identify key problems, prioritize impactful features, and ship solutions that enhance user trust and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end experience of the agent interface, onboarding, and customer support, continuously identifying and resolving user pain points.
• Conduct discovery activities by engaging with law firms, analyzing support conversations, and studying competitors to understand industry needs and gaps.
• Translate customer pain points into clear product strategies, focusing on high-impact changes that deliver maximum value.
• Collaborate closely with engineers to prototype, develop, and ship features, utilizing AI coding tools and contributing code when necessary.
• Participate in customer and sales conversations to demonstrate product fit, gather feedback, and ensure promises are deliverable.
• Establish a feedback loop that integrates customer insights, sales data, and product development to iteratively improve the product.

Qualifications

• 2-6 years of experience in product development, with a proven track record of taking products from concept to user adoption.
• Strong technical background; capable of coding and working hands-on with engineering teams.
• Experience in building user-centric products with high taste and low tolerance for confusing experiences.
• Ability to prioritize work effectively, focusing on the 20% of efforts that generate 80% of results.
• Excellent communication skills; able to explain the importance of details to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience working directly with customers, understanding workflows, and translating insights into product features.
• Educational background: Not specified, but relevant technical or product experience is essential.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with AI tools and coding, especially in a product development context.
• Experience working in startup environments or as a founder, engineer, or product lead.
