Principal Officer
 
The Chief Operating Officer (CAO) will oversee the daily administrative operations of GIFT City, with a strong focus on fund
administration, compliance, Sales, customer service, operations and taxation. The role will ensure efficient and effective
management of resources, compliance with regulations, and alignment with strategic goals.
 
Primary job responsibilities:
 Strategic Planning: Provide input for business and strategic planning and set goals for departments and individual
managers within the financial services division.
 Fund Administration: Oversee fund administration activities, including fund accounting, financial reporting, net asset
value (NAV) calculation, and investor communications.
 Compliance Management: Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards specific to the GIFT city
regulations, financial services industry, and manage risk effectively.
 Legal Oversight: Manage legal matters related to the financial services division, ensuring adherence to legal
requirements and mitigating legal risks.
 Sales and Business Development: Develop sales plans, budgets, and marketing strategies, and implement targeted
customer programs.
 Customer Services: Oversee customer service operations to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and effective
resolution of issues.
 Resource Allocation: Oversee resource allocation and budgeting to ensure optimal use of resources within the
financial services division.
 Performance Evaluation: Establish and monitor performance metrics for different departments, ensuring alignment
with organizational goals and regulatory requirements.
 Leadership: Provide direction and guidance to the administrative team, fostering a culture of excellence and
continuous improvement.
 
Knowledge and skills required for the role:
 Proven track record of strategic planning, policy implementation, and resource management.
 Knowledge of Fund Administration, Audits, Taxation and Operations.
 Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
 Ability to work collaboratively with senior executives and stakeholders.
 Knowledge of regulatory requirements, compliance standards, and taxation in the financial services industry.
 Strong understanding of sales, distribution, and marketing in investment/wealth management space.
 Excellent analytical, problem - solving, and decision-making abilities.
 Ability to manage multiple high-impact projects with precision and efficiency.
 
Educational Qualifications:
 Professional certification (CA/CFA/CS) or Master's degree in Finance, Economics, or MBA.
 
Years of Experience:
 This position requires minimum 15 years of experience
