Job Summary

The Lead Vehicle Dynamics role is critical for defining and executing test strategies related to vehicle dynamics attributes such as comfort, handling, and braking in order to ensure optimal performance and quality in vehicle design and functionality.

Responsibilities

• Define test strategies for various functional attributes including Comfort, Handling, and Brakes in vehicle dynamics.
• Conduct system-level and vehicle-level testing of vehicle dynamics attributes.
• Perform benchmarking tests on vehicles regarding vehicle dynamics.
• Develop robust design validation plans covering all test cases related to vehicle dynamics.
• Execute test cases using appropriate resources and ensure timely delivery of results.
• Raise issues and highlight critical failures within the vehicle/system early in the design process.
• Collaborate closely with Attributes and Product teams to enhance testing capabilities.
• Work with multidisciplinary teams to create better products.
• Represent the product validation team in cross-functional meetings and direct tasks to respective testing teams.
• Establish test standards and procedures to meet testing requirements.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of electric vehicle performance and dynamics.
• Proven experience in vehicle dynamics attributes, specifically Handling, Comfort, Brakes, and Ergonomics.
• Expertise in vehicle dynamics objective data measurement and analysis.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with teams and stakeholders.
• Strong data visualization skills to interpret and present test data clearly.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with advanced vehicle testing methodologies.
• Experience with data analysis tools and software specific to vehicle dynamics.
