Job Summary
We are looking for a driven and detail-oriented Accounts Executive to join our growing team in Bangalore. In this role, you will manage end-to-end accounting and statutory compliance for a diverse portfolio of clients — ranging from funded startups to established SMEs — giving you exceptional cross-industry exposure. Responsibilities
- Maintain and update daily financial records, including accounts payable and receivable.
- Process invoices, payments, and bank transactions in a timely manner.
- Reconcile bank statements and financial records to ensure accuracy.
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports, including profit & loss statements and balance sheets.
- Perform regular reconciliation of Vendor, Customer & General Ledger accounts to ensure accuracy.
- Assist in internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
- Monitor and manage petty cash transactions.
- Prepare GSTR1, GSTR2B & GSTR3B on a monthly basis for clients and highlight any discrepancies.
- Prepare monthly TDS workings for clients and file quarterly TDS returns, including rectifications as required.
- Prepare and file PF, ESIC & Professional Tax returns on a monthly basis.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field (CA Inter / MBA in Finance is a plus).
- 1-3 years of experience in accounting or a related field.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as Tally, QuickBooks, or Zoho Books.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.
- Excellent numerical and analytical skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with GST and TDS compliance.
- Familiarity with cloud-based accounting tools is an advantage.
Experience
1-3 years of experience in accounting or a related field is preferred.
