The engineering team works on distributed systems, real-time data pipelines, automation frameworks, and AI-driven optimization engines that transform fragmented media workflows into unified intelligent systems.

Job Summary

AtomicAds is hiring Member(s) of Technical Staff to help build scalable backend systems powering the platform. Engineers will work closely with product, engineering, and infrastructure teams to design and develop reliable software solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Python and Django.
• Optimize database interactions with PostgreSQL/MySQL.
• Lead technical initiatives including architecture discussions and code reviews.
• Drive monolith-to-microservices evolution while exploring Rust/Go for future scale.
• Implement DSP APIs and collaborate with frontend teams.
• Deploy and monitor AWS-based production systems.
• Participate in on-call rotations and production debugging.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience building scalable backend systems from scratch.
• Strong expertise in Python and Django.
• Experience with FastAPI or Flask is a plus.
• Strong understanding of distributed systems and microservices.
• Experience with PostgreSQL/MySQL.
• AWS production environment exposure.
• Additional programming language experience preferred (Go/Rust preferred).
• Strong problem-solving and engineering fundamentals.
• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science or related engineering discipline.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with FastAPI or Flask.
• Additional programming skills in Go or Rust.

Experience

• A minimum of 6 years in backend development with scalable system design and deployment experience.

Environment

• Work will be conducted on-site in Koramangala, Bangalore.
