CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER JOB INTENT<br /> The position responsibilities would not only encompass the present financial situation of the Company but also the financial future of the Company. Thus, economic strategy making, forecasting, financial modeling and Audit of AMC and taxation would be an imperative constituent of his/her responsibilities. He /she must be able to identify and report what areas of a company are most efficient and how the company can capitalize on this information. Managing Finance & Accounts department, budget preparation, and audit functions. This position reports to Executive Director and Business Head.<br /> JOB RESPONSIBILITIES<br /> FINANCIALS, MIS AND BUDGET<br /> •<br /> Overall control of Finance, Accounts, SEBI Compliances (to the extent applicable to dept.) and Tax Compliances<br /> •<br /> Ensure monthly financial closure including Balance Sheet, P&L as per IND AS, Management fees analysis, Budget Vs Actuals etc<br /> •<br /> Ensure quarterly financial reporting to Associate companies (IND AS and IGAAP). Also ensure timely closure of year-end accounts of company (IND AS and IGAAP)<br /> •<br /> Review of ledger scrutiny done by team on periodic basis<br /> •<br /> Review and analysis of branch-wise profitability report<br /> •<br /> Preparation of annual budget of the company after co-ordination with other functions / departments<br /> •<br /> Presentation of company performance (P&L) in Board meetings.<br /> AUDITS , STATUTORY COMPLIANCES AND SCRUTINIES<br /> •<br /> Ensure compliances with relevant Statutory rules and regulations including application of IND AS, IGAAP as relevant and appropriate.<br /> •<br /> Coordinate with Internal, Statutory, Income Tax, GST Auditor, co-ordinate with consultants for return filings and scrutinies, preparing advance tax computations.<br /> •<br /> Ensure adherence and compliance to taxation norms, SEBI regulations etc<br /> •<br /> Ensure monthly / quarterly regulatory reportings<br /> •<br /> Prepare submissions , provide relevant information to consultants in case of scrutiny by tax departments.<br /> •<br /> Review of Risk Control Matrix (RCMs) for ‘Internal Control Over Financial Reporting (ICFR)’ Audit<br /> MONITORING ROUTINE ACTIVITIES<br /> •<br /> Review and monitor maintenance of records of routine accounting transactions of the company.<br /> •<br /> Review of daily cash flow and deployment of surplus funds<br /> •<br /> Ensure timely and accurate capitalization of Fixed Assets, periodic physical verification of fixed assets<br /> •<br /> Providing relevant information to associate companies / AMFI / SEBI as and when required.<br /> •<br /> Active involvement in the implementation of new project / regulatory changes i.e. GST, IND AS, Direct tax etc.<br /> Required Skills/Abilities:<br /> 2 JOB ANALYSIS : LIC MUTUAL FUND ASSET MANAGEMENT LTD<br /> •<br /> Excellent management and supervisory skills.<br /> •<br /> Excellent analytical and organizational skills.<br /> •<br /> Excellent leadership and team handling experience 4-5 years.<br /> •<br /> Hands on experience in Advanced MS Excel and MS Powerpoint. Knowledge of GFS (Global Financial Solution) Accounting system is preferable.<br /> •<br /> Excellent written and verbal communication skills.<br /> Education and Experience:<br /> Chartered Accountant with 8-10 years of work experience.
