Job Summary
We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Business Development Intern to support our customer relations and business development efforts in the K-12 education segment across India.
This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about education and is eager to gain hands-on experience in consultative sales, client outreach, and education sector analysis to create meaningful partnerships.
The successful candidate will leverage their skills in business communication, sales strategy, and negotiation to build relationships, generate leads, and close deals.
Experience in the Education Sector is a big bonus.
Responsibilities

Research and identify potential partner schools (CBSE, ICSE, IB, and state boards) across India

Support the preparation of sales presentations and outreach materials for prospective clients.

Contribute to the development of sales plans, market research, and key performance reports.

Reach out to school decision-makers (principals, coordinators, directors) via email, phone, and LinkedIn

Schedule introductory meetings and follow-up with leads to maintain engagement

Support in drafting outreach emails, proposals, and presentations

Assist with organizing and promoting school-facing webinars, info sessions, or demo events

Support the preparation of sales presentations and outreach materials for prospective clients.

Contribute to the development of sales plans, market research, and key performance reports.

Help manage CRM data and maintain accurate records of leads, outreach, and follow-ups.

Participate in internal meetings and brainstorming sessions on market strategy.

Assist in proposal writing, account coordination, and tracking ongoing school engagement initiatives.

Shadow team members during client calls and webinars, gaining exposure to consultative sales techniques.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in business development, sales, or a related field.
- Strong business communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Proven ability to develop and execute sales strategies.
- Excellent negotiation and persuasion skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Proficiency in using CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of market research and competitor analysis.
- Interest in education, innovation, and/or STEM
- Proficiency in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides)
- Prior experience in outreach or sales (preferred but not mandatory)
- Comfortable with hybrid work and weekly offline/ online check-ins
- Familiarity with digital sales and marketing tools.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven setting.
Experience
- Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in business development, sales, or related fields.
Environment
- May require flexibility to work independently and travel to schools within Bangalore for negotiations.
- Internship position with immediate start and a deadline for applications on 2025-06-26.
Salary
- ₹15,000 – ₹25,000 per month (contractual basis) + performance based bonus.
