Brand Strategy and Trade Marketing Manager

Job Summary

The Brand Strategy and Trade Marketing Manager will own the India growth strategy and end-to-end Profit & Loss (P&L) for AESTURA, a premium Korean dermocosmetics brand under the Amorepacific portfolio. This role is responsible for building the brand across multiple channels by translating global brand direction and Korean derma science into locally relevant propositions tailored for Indian consumers and dermatologists. The position combines business strategy, category and channel development, trade marketing, and operational readiness, requiring close collaboration with Korea headquarters and local teams across E-commerce, Retail, Marketing, Regulatory, Supply Chain, and Finance to deliver successful product launches, effective execution, and sustainable, profitable growth.

Responsibilities

  • Own revenue, profitability, and the annual business plan, including developing rolling P&L forecasts and monthly channel-wise sales and marketing budgets; manage trade-offs to support a healthy, scaling business.
  • Define market-entry sequencing, channel mix, pricing, and expansion roadmap; adapt global positioning for India with a clear audience, price, and design proposition to strengthen AESTURA’s premium, science-led positioning in the Indian derma market.
  • Evaluate investments across stores, marketing, technology, and channels to maximize growth and returns; build business cases for future investments.
  • Partner with global and local teams on product-market fit, assortment, and core product lines in line with global mandates; adapt launches to Indian consumer needs, skin concerns, and climate; manage SKU introductions and discontinuations.
  • Develop channel-specific business and trade marketing strategies with Sales and E-commerce teams; build retail partnerships, launch plans, exclusive offerings, and promotional opportunities to improve availability, consideration, brand equity, and sales.
  • Act as the primary interface between Korea headquarters and India teams on strategy, business plans, launches, budgets, and operations; communicate local insights and execution updates; coordinate functions to deliver an integrated business plan.
  • Lead product registration preparation with headquarters and local regulatory agencies, coordinating SKU lists, artwork, certificates, and required documentation.
  • Lead SKU-level demand forecasts, initial order quantities, and inventory monitoring; align supply schedules with registrations and launch timelines to ensure availability while limiting stock-outs and excess inventory.
  • Manage end-to-end product launch operations, including forecasts, pricing, initial orders, assortment, and go-to-market timelines; align headquarters product availability with local commercial and operational readiness.
  • Plan seasonal promotions, India-specific gift sets, and product bundles with headquarters and channel partners to address local needs and commercial opportunities.
  • Manage the new product development and integrated marketing communications calendar, coordinating launches, campaigns, promotions, and supply readiness across channels.
  • Oversee trade materials and sampling, including gifts with purchase, purchase-with-purchase offers, promotional materials, and samples with headquarters, local teams, and suppliers.
  • Consolidate monthly sales, channel performance, budget utilization, and P&L updates; own business reviews and reporting to India leadership and headquarters, recommending strategic adjustments and course corrections.

  • Strong experience in new brand or category launch strategy and planning, with an understanding of execution principles.
  • Basic understanding of the Indian derma and active skincare market.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams, supported by strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Skills

  • In-depth knowledge of derma products in India and consumer need spaces.
  • Hands-on business planning and execution experience across offline and online channels.
  • Experience launching or scaling an international skincare brand in India.
  • Working knowledge of Indian derma market rules and regulations.

Experience
