Job Summary
The Team Lead - General Accounting will oversee general accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance with accounting standards. This role will enhance process efficiency and lead the accounting team in achieving departmental goals.
Responsibilities
- Manage bank reconciliation and ensure accuracy in financial records.
- Oversee the Record to Report (R2R) process and related functions.
- Facilitate payroll coordination and treasury activities.
- Lead the team in processing journal entries and providing audit support.
- Utilize SAP for financial reporting and GL account reviews.
- Implement process standardization and quality improvement strategies.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Bank Reconciliation, General Accounting, and Record to Report (R2R) processes.
- Strong team leadership and management skills.
- Experience with SAP, MS Office, and accounting controls.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to coordinate effectively.
- Knowledge of financial reporting, exchange rate reconciliation, and accounting process automation.
- Educational qualification: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in journal entries processing and audit support.
- Familiarity with quality improvement initiatives and accounting controls.
