.NET Developer

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and motivated .NET Developer with 3+ years of experience to join our dynamic team in Pune. The ideal candidate will be proficient in C# and .NET Core, with strong exposure to frontend frameworks, database technologies, and modern software development practices. This role is crucial in building high-quality applications and ensuring seamless software delivery through collaboration and agile methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Application Development: Develop and maintain high-quality applications using .NET Core and C#.
• Frontend Development: Build user interfaces leveraging JavaScript and modern frameworks such as Angular or React.
• Service Design: Design, develop, and deploy RESTful services and microservices.
• Database Integration: Work with relational databases including MS SQL Server and Sybase.
• Engineering Best Practices: Apply best practices such as unit testing (xUnit/nUnit), test-driven development (TDD), CI/CD (TeamCity/Octopus), and code refactoring.
• Containerization: Implement containerization solutions using Docker, Rancher, and Kubernetes.
• Collaboration & Mentorship: Collaborate with QA, Ops, and support teams, mentor junior developers, and contribute to knowledge sharing within the team.
• Agile Practices: Participate actively in agile ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
• Documentation: Maintain technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and system flowcharts.
• AI Tool Utilization: Leverage AI tools such as GitHub Copilot to enhance overall development productivity.

Qualifications

• Technical Expertise: Proficient in C#, .NET Core, and object-oriented programming.
• Design Principles: Strong understanding of design concepts such as SOLID principles, design patterns, and coupling/cohesion.
• Performance Optimization: Experience with multithreading and performance optimization techniques.
• Containerization and Orchestration: Exposure to containerized deployments and orchestration tools (Docker, Rancher, Kubernetes).
• Version Control: Familiarity with version control systems, particularly Git.
• Frontend Technologies: Practical experience with JavaScript and modern frameworks like Angular or React.
• Database Skills: Hands-on experience with SQL and Sybase.
• Soft Skills: Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Educational Credentials: A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.

Preferred Skills

• Basic C Knowledge: Basic understanding of C programming concepts.
• AI Tools: Experience with AI tools such as GitHub Copilot to streamline development processes.

Experience

• Years of Experience: A minimum of 3+ years of hands-on experience in .NET development, including work with .NET Core, C#, frontend technologies, microservices, REST APIs, containerization, and CI/CD practices.
