Job Summary
We are seeking a Qualified Architect with 18 to 20 years of experience in Commercial and mixed-use projects. The role emphasizes enhancing relationships with existing clients while exploring new business development opportunities in Bangalore and Chennai. The candidate is expected to perform all phases of architectural work, including planning, designing, and overseeing construction documentation. Additionally, they will mentor and lead a team of architects and technicians to meet project deliverables.
Responsibilities

Business Development & Client Relationship Management:
- Develop strategies for revenue maximization and top-line growth.
- Prepare and manage the vertical's annual capital and operating expense budgets.
- Nurture partnerships to ensure profitability and client retention in the commercial sector.
- Prospect for potential new clients and increase business in the commercial sector in Bangalore and Chennai.

Team Leadership:
- Identify individual and team skill gaps; facilitate developmental opportunities through training and projects.
- Motivate the team and foster a collaborative environment while resolving performance issues in accordance with company policies.
- Monitor the project lifecycle from intake through delivery, ensuring alignment with budgetary constraints.

Design Development and Management:
- Manage multiple projects from inception to completion, identifying client needs and developing feasibility reports.
- Develop ideas while considering client needs, building usage, and environmental impacts.
- Coordinate with the design cell/3D team for developing building aesthetics.

Drawing Management:
- Ensure high-quality drawing deliverables from start to finish of projects, adhering to specific standards and building codes.
- Work with a team of 8 to 12 architects and technicians to achieve timely deliverables.

Consultant and Vendor Coordination:
- Collaborate with structural and service consultants for design development.
- Coordinate with vendors for material selection.

Client and Site Coordination:
- Liaise with clients for regular project feedback and remuneration follow-up.
- Perform periodic site visits to check on project status and report accordingly.
Qualifications

Educational Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture (B. Arch or equivalent).
- Desired: PG or Master's degree in Construction or Project Management.

Skills:
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Google Sketch Up, MS Office, Revit, and Photoshop.

Experience:
- 15 to 20 years in an architectural consultancy firm with at least 10 years focused on mixed-use or commercial projects.
- Led a team of at least 10 people in the last organization.
- Completed a minimum of two Grade A- IT campuses of 1,500,000 sqft from start to finish in Bangalore.
- Established networking with top management of leading developers in the city is preferred.
Preferred Skills
- Experience working on projects for top developers such as DLF, Prestige, Brigade, Embassy, and RMZ in Mumbai, Bangalore, or Delhi.
Experience
- A minimum of 15 years of relevant experience in architectural consultancy, particularly in mixed-use and commercial projects.
Environment
- The position is based in Mumbai, with potential travel for project site visits that may require prolonged stays.
