- Review outsourced fund accounting activities, financial reports, controls, and deliverables; identify issues, challenge outputs, and drive resolution.
- Coordinate quarterly regulatory, investor, and fund reporting requirements, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Manage fund audit cycles, including coordination with auditors, preparation and review of schedules, and resolution of audit queries.
- Oversee fund tax matters in collaboration with external tax advisors, ensuring timely completion of required actions.
- Manage capital activity across funds, including capital calls/drawdowns, distributions, and exit-related processes.
- Support LP/investor servicing across various investor categories, including institutional, DFI, sovereign, and others.
- Collaborate with fund administrators, auditors, tax advisors, legal/compliance teams, and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth fund operations.
- Monitor fund-level processes, controls, documentation, and compliance across multiple jurisdictions and fund structures.
- Identify and implement process improvements in fund finance systems, controls, and operating infrastructure.
- Lead and develop team members while remaining actively involved in resolving complex fund-level issues.
- Partner with the Finance Head on broader fund finance and operational initiatives as the platform scales.
Qualifications
- 7–8+ years of relevant experience in fund finance, fund accounting, fund operations, or a closely related environment.

- Practical knowledge of capital calls/drawdowns, distributions, and exit processes.
- Experience with LP/investor reporting, audit, tax, and regulatory compliance.
- Educational qualifications: CA (Chartered Accountant) or equivalent professional qualification preferred, especially for candidates from fund administration backgrounds.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and team leadership skills.
