React Front-End Developer

Job Summary

As a React Front-End Developer in Bangalore, you will transform UX wireframes into pixel-perfect, production-grade React interfaces. Embedded within Moolya’s core product pod, you will own the web front-end end-to-end—from architecture and performance to quality gates—ensuring features are shipped at startup velocity. You will collaborate closely with product, design, and back-end teams to drive an exceptional user experience and ensure adherence to best practices and industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Architect & Maintain: Develop and maintain a modern React 18 code-base using technologies like TypeScript, Hooks, and Context/Redux Toolkit.
• Component Development: Convert Figma designs into reusable, accessible components with robust test coverage using Jest, React Testing Library, and Cypress.
• Service Integration: Integrate REST/GraphQL services, implement real-time data handling, and manage authentication flows while proactively guarding against failure states.
• Performance & Accessibility: Drive compliance with Lighthouse, Core Web Vitals, and WCAG 2.1 AA standards, ensuring optimal performance and accessibility.
• CI/CD and Code Quality: Oversee front-end CI/CD processes (e.g., GitHub Actions) and enforce code-quality gates, including clear pull request etiquette and semantic versioning.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Work daily with product, design, and back-end teams to identify risks early and propose concrete fixes.

Qualifications

• Experience: At least 3+ years of experience shipping React applications to production.
• Technical Proficiency: Strong skills in React 18, TypeScript, ES2022+, and modern CSS frameworks (Tailwind, CSS-in-JS, SCSS).
• Testing Expertise: Experience with testing frameworks such as Jest, React Testing Library, and Cypress for comprehensive test coverage.
• Performance Optimization: Demonstrated track record in performance tuning, including bundle splitting and monitoring using tools like Sentry or New Relic.
• Version Control: Proficient in a Git-centric workflow with clear PR etiquette and familiar with semantic versioning practices.
• Educational Background: A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with App Router implementations.
• Experience with visual regression testing using Storybook.
• Knowledge of AWS edge deployments.
• Experience in mentoring junior developers or contributing to front-end standards and best practices.

Experience

• Minimum of 3+ years of hands-on experience in developing, shipping, and maintaining React applications in production environments.
