SAP ABAP HR Web Dynpro Workflow Consultant

Job Summary

The SAP ABAP HR Web Dynpro Workflow Consultant will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing SAP ABAP solutions, including SAP ABAP HR Web Dynpro Workflow. The role requires strong technical expertise, hands-on experience in multiple SAP modules, and the ability to manage complex technical challenges independently. The consultant will play a key role in full-cycle SAP implementations, solution enhancements, and supporting Fiori/UI5 development within a dynamic team environment.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop high-quality SAP ABAP solutions tailored to business requirements.
• Lead and manage end-to-end full-cycle SAP ABAP implementation projects.
• Develop and maintain classical and ALV reports, print forms (SFP, Smart Forms, SAP Scripts).
• Utilize ABAP Web Dynpro and Workflow for application development and process automation.
• Develop and enhance OData services and webservices for seamless integrations.
• Implement enhancement frameworks, BADIs (Business Add-Ins), and interface programming for custom solutions.
• Design, develop, test, and support Fiori/UI5 objects and functionalities.
• Resolve complex technical issues and provide expert troubleshooting support.
• Write, review, and validate technical specifications and documentation.
• Collaborate effectively with distributed teams and present technical solutions to stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 8+ years of experience in SAP ABAP design and development.
• 3+ full cycle SAP ABAP implementation projects as a technical consultant.
• Strong hands-on skills in core ABAP programming, enhancement frameworks, BADIs, and interface programming.
• Expertise in developing classical/ALV reports, SFP, Smart Forms, SAP Scripts.
• Proficiency in OData services, webservices, ALE, EDI, IDocs, BAPI, RFCs, and ABAP Proxies.
• Solid experience in ABAP Web Dynpro and Workflow.
• Experience in Fiori/UI5 design, development, testing, and support.
• Demonstrated capability in performance tuning and technical issue resolution.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work independently, proactively, and in distributed environments.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with ABAP on SAP NetWeaver 7.50.
• Functional knowledge in SAP PM (Plant Maintenance), FICO (Financial Accounting and Controlling), or logistics modules.
• Experience in the utilities domain.
• Experience with S/4 HANA implementation projects.

Experience

• Minimum 3 years of relevant SAP ABAP experience required (8+ years preferred).
• Experience in full-cycle SAP ABAP implementations.
• Proven track record in managing and resolving complex technical issues within SAP environments.

Salary

Estimated Budget: ₹15 – 25 Lakhs Per Annum (LPA).
