Detailed job description:

● Identify cost optimisation opportunities through analysis of business data with cross-functional teams to draw out detailed plan(s) and drive their implementation.

● Improve visibility of key business metrics in areas such as revenue, gross margin, discounts, shipping charges, warehousing, etc. through data dashboards.

● Perform various analyses such as cost-benefit analysis, scenario analysis, financial modeling, impact analysis, etc., and present recommendations to leaders on strategic decisions.

● Call out metrics or areas which are off-track as soon as possible so that problem-solving can be done quickly

● Diving deep into L3, L4, and L5 level data to find out roadblocks or inefficiencies, or answer questions from business leaders.

● Perform weekly business performance reviews with all relevant stakeholders.

● Manage key stakeholders viz finance, category, and supply chain. Skill and competencies:

● In-depth understanding of cost structures and P&L

● Strong analytical, mediation, negotiating, and problem-resolution skills.

● Ability to self-direct work in an unstructured, fast-paced environment, and be comfortable with ambiguity.

● Ability to communicate insights clearly.

● Strong ability to work with MS excel and Google sheets.

 

Qualification and experience requirements:

 

● CA/ MBA from a reputed institution with 0-2 years of experience

● Past experience in Finance or a business finance role; Experience in E-Commerce, and/ or Start-up is preferred although not mandatory.
