PR Asst. Manager - JD
As PR Asst. Manager you will execute public relations initiatives to enhance the
organization's image and build positive relationships with key stakeholders.
Objective
1. Media Presence: Generate media coverage for brand/organization visibility through
press releases, targeted media outlets and strategic media partnerships.
2. Build Positive Relationships: Build strong connections with stakeholders, customers,
and influencers for sustained brand advocacy.
3. Craft Compelling Content: Develop and distribute engaging content across various
platforms to convey key messages effectively.
4. Reputation Management: Proactively managing and enhancing the brand's
reputation across all platforms to build trust and credibility among target audiences.
Responsibilities:
Media Relations
● Craft and distribute press releases to announce new products, store openings, or
other important news.
● Establish and maintain relationships with journalists, bloggers, and PR influencers
relevant to the jewelry industry and lifestyle sector.
● Use tools to monitor brand mentions and media coverage, and prepare
monthly/quarterly reports on PR outcomes.
Content Strategy
● Generate compelling content, including press releases, articles, blog posts, and social
media content by collaborating with the content & fashion team.
● Ensure consistency in messaging and branding across various content platforms.
Executing PR Strategy
● Work with the PR Manager/Brand Head to implement PR strategy aligned with the
company’s business objectives and brand identity.
● Manage the PR calendar, incorporating seasonal promotions, product launches, and
other key business events.
PR Influencer Partnerships
● Research and reach out to potential brand advocates or PR influencers who align with
Kushal's values and customer base.
● Plan and execute PR influencer campaigns, including tracking deliverables, deadlines,
and KPIs.
Event Coordination
● Plan and coordinate PR events such as product launches, press conferences, or
community engagement events.
● Utilize media contacts and social media to promote events and secure media
coverage.
Ensure Crisis Readiness
● Prepare and implement proactive crisis communication strategies to safeguard the
organization's reputation.
Candidate Profile:
Qualification
● Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Literature, Art or a related
field.
● Minimum of 4 years of experience in PR and media management
● 1+ years of recent experience in B2C model in the fashion,beauty industry, lifestyle
and Hospitality.
Experience
● Proven track record of successful PR campaigns, including evidence of media
coverage and brand visibility improvements.
● Strong media relations experience with a network of industry contacts.
● Experience in planning and executing PR events, such as product launches, press
conferences, or community engagement events.
● Previous involvement in influencer identification, outreach, and campaign
management.
● Experience in managing social media accounts for PR purposes.
● Experience with working with agencies and vendor management.
● Familiarity with developing and managing PR calendars, aligning activities with
seasonal promotions, product launches, and key business events.
● Familiar with setting up a crisis communications plan.
● Familiar in managing PR budgets.
