General Manager/ Senior General Manager – HRBP and Admin Head
Job Summary
The General Manager/Senior General Manager will serve as the HR Business Partner (HRBP) and Admin Head reporting directly to the Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO). This role aims to provide high-level business partnering by advising business leaders on addressing key personnel challenges and fostering a strong, high-performing culture while enhancing employee engagement. Additionally, the incumbent will oversee and streamline administrative operations and lead teams of location-specific Business Partners and Administration.
Responsibilities

HR Business Partner:
- Partner with Business Leaders to shape a people strategy that aligns with company’s growth and innovation goals.
- Manage all HRBP operations, including onboarding, offboarding, employee engagement, performance management, rewards and recognition, and grievance management.
- Advise on optimal organizational structures and manage restructures, redeployment, and drive engagement during changes.
- Contribute to mergers and acquisitions (M&A) processes, including due diligence, risk assessment, integration planning, and communications.
- Collaborate with HR functional leads to deliver impactful HR initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
- Analyze workforce data to provide insightful recommendations for strategic decision-making and to assess talent management effectiveness.
- Lead organizational change initiatives, ensuring successful outcomes through stakeholder engagement and effective communication strategies.
- Develop the HRBP team to meet key deliverables while maintaining a strong problem-solving approach.

Administration:
- Oversee daily office operations, including facility management, housekeeping, and vendor coordination.
- Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and industry standards.
- Prepare and manage budgets to promote cost-efficiency in administrative functions.
- Implement strategies aimed at improving efficiency and service quality.
- Drive cost optimization initiatives in administrative functions by partnering on related projects.
- Facilitate audit requirements and support the Plant head in all factory-related communication.
Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Human Resources Management, Commerce/Business, Psychology, or a related field.
- Significant experience in a strategic HRBP role with a thorough understanding of business operations and organizational needs.
- Extensive experience using HRMS platforms, skilled in leveraging data for strategic insights.
- Ability to navigate ambiguity and lead change initiatives effectively in a dynamic environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the capability to build relationships and influence at all organizational levels.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and facilitation skills for delivering complex messages and programs effectively.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite and various HR-related technology tools.
Location
- The position is based in Thane, with travel to specific sites as needed (including Ambernath, Satara, CSN, and Indore).
