Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Data Analyst with 8+ years of expertise in data analytics, data modeling, and business intelligence. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in extracting, transforming, and analyzing data from multiple sources to drive strategic decision-making and operational improvements.

Responsibilities

• Data Acquisition & Integration:

  • Gather and integrate data from diverse sources including relational databases, APIs, flat files, and web scraping tools.
  • Collaborate with data engineering teams to ensure seamless data ingestion and pipeline optimization.

• Data Quality & Management:

  • Cleanse, validate, and transform data to ensure accuracy, consistency, and completeness.
  • Implement data quality checks and performance optimization techniques.

• Data Modeling & Architecture:

  • Design and maintain scalable data models and schemas that support analytical and reporting needs.
  • Ensure data models align with business requirements and domain standards.

• Analytical Insights & Reporting:

  • Perform advanced statistical analysis and predictive modeling to uncover trends, patterns, and actionable insights.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations using tools like Power BI, Tableau, or similar.

• Business Problem Solving:

  • Translate business challenges into data-driven solutions.
  • Provide strategic recommendations based on data analysis to improve business processes and outcomes.

• Collaboration & Communication:

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams including Data Engineers, Data Scientists, Business Analysts, Solution Architects, and IT/Business stakeholders.
  • Present findings and insights to both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Documentation & Governance:

  • Document end-to-end data flows, data lineage, and maintain data catalogs for various data marts.
  • Ensure compliance with data governance, security, and integration standards.

• Leadership & Mentorship:

  • Act as a liaison between business and technical teams to ensure alignment on data strategies.
  • Mentor junior analysts and contribute to the continuous improvement of analytics practices.

• Continuous Learning:

  • Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in data analytics.
  • Promote a culture of innovation and knowledge sharing within the team.

Qualifications

• Educational Background:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.

• Experience:

  • 8+ years of hands-on experience in data analysis, data modeling, and business intelligence.

• Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in SQL, Python/R, and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
  • Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts, ETL processes, and cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS, GCP).
