Job Summary

The Zonal Head South - Channel Sales is responsible for leading and expanding the channel sales operations within the southern region of India. The role involves managing partner relationships, driving business growth through channel partners, and ensuring the achievement of sales targets for PMS, AIF, and other asset management products. The incumbent will work closely with sales teams, clients, and partners to promote ENAM AMC’s offerings, uphold the organization’s values of integrity and social responsibility, and contribute to the overall strategic growth of the company in the region.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee the channel sales operations in the South region, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to acquire new partners and clients, focusing on high-net-worth individuals (HNIs), ultra-HNIs, and institutional clients.
  • Manage and nurture relationships with channel partners, including private banks, wealth managers, and financial advisors, to maximize business opportunities.
  • Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to organize client meetings, presentations, and product pitches.
  • Monitor regional sales performance, analyze market trends, and prepare MIS reports to inform decision-making.
  • Ensure compliance with the organization’s ethical standards, including the non-involvement in businesses like tobacco, alcohol, and gambling, and uphold the firm’s socially responsible investing philosophy.

Qualifications

  • Post Graduation in Sales and Marketing or related fields.
  • Strong domain knowledge of asset management, PMS, AIF, private banking, and private wealth management.
  • Minimum of 18+ years of experience in Channel Sales within the Asset Management industry.
  • Proven track record of managing partner relationships and client portfolios of HNI and Ultra HNI clients.
  • Experience working with niche Asset Management organizations focusing on PMS and AIF.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Demonstrated leadership and team management capabilities.
  • Knowledge of market intelligence, MIS, and analytics tools.
  • Result-oriented with a professional approach and critical thinking skills.

Preferred Skills

  • Deep understanding of private banking and private wealth space.
  • Experience in managing large-scale channel sales teams.
  • Familiarity with ESG principles and socially responsible investing.
