Job Summary

The DevOps Engineer will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines using Azure DevOps. This position will ensure the operational efficiency of Azure cloud environments while collaborating closely with development and operations teams to enhance application delivery, system performance, and security.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps to automate build, test, and deployment processes.
• Manage and maintain Azure cloud environments, ensuring optimal performance, security, and scalability.
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to streamline processes and enhance application delivery.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure high availability and reliability.
• Implement infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools such as Azure Resource Manager, Terraform, or ARM templates.
• Develop and enforce best practices for DevOps processes, including source control, versioning, and release management.
• Conduct regular system audits and implement security best practices to protect data and applications.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest Azure technologies and DevOps trends to continuously improve practices.
• Exhibit strong hands-on experience with monorepo and understanding of the use of GitHub Actions to build a private turborepo to speed up the build.
• Work with the development team to reduce build time and establish code coverage.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer, specifically with Azure cloud services.
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools and methodologies, particularly with Azure DevOps.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
• Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools (e.g., Azure Monitor, Grafana) and logging frameworks.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Agile methodologies.
• Knowledge of security best practices in cloud environments.
• Certifications in Azure (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect, Azure DevOps Engineer) are a plus.
