<p>Job Title: Sr Manager, Sales Application Manager</p>

<p>India and are backed by some of the largest global venture-capital funds. We are currently contracted</p>
<p>to sell 16+ GVA of transformers (300 mn+ USD of sales) in the US market, across HV and MV, over the</p>
<p>next 4 years.</p>
<p>Role</p>
<p>We are seeking a technically strong and commercially astute Sales Application Manager to drive the</p>
<p>technical sales process for Ayr Energy’s range of transformers products. The role bridges engineering</p>
<p>and sales—translating customer specifications into optimized technical and commercial proposals and</p>
<p>providing technical support to internal and external stakeholders.</p>
<p>The ideal candidate brings deep knowledge of power transformer design, proposal creation (design</p>
<p>and costing), utility tender documentation, and experience in customer engagement</p>
<p>Key Responsibilities</p>
<p>1. Proposal & Bid Management (Internal Coordination)</p>
<p>• Lead the end-to-end proposal process from Customer RFQ to Proposal for utility customer,</p>
<p>including:</p>
<p> Reviewing commercial and technical specifications.</p>
<p> Coordinating with engineering teams to develop preliminary designs and cost</p>
<p>estimates aligning</p>
<p> Preparing technically compliant and commercially optimized proposals</p>
<p>• Ensure clarity in scope definition, technical deviations, and compliance with all the customer</p>
<p>requirements & IEEE/IEC standards.</p>
<p>• Maintain a centralized repository of proposals, costing templates, and bid trackers for</p>
<p>management review.</p>
<p>2. Customer-Facing / Sales Engineering Support</p>
<p>• Participate in pre-bid and post-bid discussions with utilities, EPCs, and developers• Be the technical interface between customers and Ayr Energy for pre-order and post-</p>
<p>proposal clarifications.</p>
<p>• Review customer feedback and coordinate technical responses, design alternatives, or cost</p>
<p>optimizations.</p>
<p>• Support the sales team in presenting Ayr Energy’s product capabilities and technical</p>
<p>differentiators during customer meetings and bid evaluations.</p>
<p>3. Process Development & Cross-Functional Alignment</p>
<p>• Drive standardization of proposal formats, costing norms, costing logic, and approval</p>
<p>workflows</p>
<p>• Contribute to training and upskilling initiatives for the sales teams on product knowledge</p>
<p>• Work closely with design, procurement, and project teams to ensure alignment between</p>
<p>proposal commitments and manufacturing feasibility</p>
<p>• Build deep understanding of customer requirements, market trends, and gather critical</p>
<p>pricing intelligence to guide product and proposal strategy.</p>
<p>Skills & Attributes</p>
<p>• Strong engineering foundation with a deep understanding of transformer design</p>
<p>• Proven experience handling technical-commercial proposals for utilities or EPC customers in</p>
<p>the US market.</p>
<p> Knowledge of commercial and legal clauses, various compliance submissions, and</p>
<p>other special requirements of utility transformer bids</p>
<p>• Strong commercial acumen with attention to cost structure, margins, and competitiveness</p>
<p>to maintain customer satisfaction & profitability</p>
<p>• Excellent coordination and communication skills across technical and business functions.</p>
<p>• Proficiency in MS Office, and any proposal management tools.</p>
<p>Qualifications</p>
<p>• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering required</p>
<p>• 10+ years of experience in sales application, proposal engineering, or bid management for</p>
<p>transformers, switchgear, or related grid equipment.</p>
<p>• Prior experience in utility or EPC tendering processes for US market is essential.</p>
<p>• Familiarity with IEEE/IEC standards and U.S. or international utility specifications preferred.</p>
