Job Summary
The General Manager – Operations & Business Development will oversee regional parking operations within North & East India, ensuring excellence in service delivery, fostering business growth, enhancing profitability, and upholding compliance with company standards and statutory requirements.
Responsibilities
- Operations Management: Oversee multi-site parking operations ensuring adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), service level agreements (SLAs), safety, productivity improvements, and audit compliance.
- Business Development: Identify new business opportunities across various sectors such as airports, malls, and smart mobility projects; manage tender processes and contract negotiations.
- Client Relationship Management: Serve as the primary contact for clients, conducting service reviews, resolving issues, and identifying expansion opportunities to enhance client retention.
- Financial Management: Drive revenue objectives, monitor budgets, forecasts, billing, collections, and site profitability to meet profitability and EBITDA goals.
- Contract & Risk Management: Oversee commercial terms, pricing strategies, contractual obligations, and associated risks to ensure compliance and effective performance.
- Team Leadership: Lead and develop regional managers and site teams through performance reviews, training, and coaching initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in any field; a Postgraduate or MBA is preferred.
- 12–18 years of experience in operations and business development in sectors like parking management, facility management, hospitality, retail, or real estate.
- Proven experience managing large multi-site operations and regional teams.
- Strong operational excellence and customer satisfaction focus.
- Effective leadership and team development capabilities.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
