Position / Grade State Head – MPCG
Department, Function Retail Sales
Location Indore
Reports to (Position) Regional Sales Manager
Job Summary

Key objective:
• Handling Retail Channel Network of sellers / resellers
• Achieving Targets (Distributor/Retailer & Executive wise)
• Distribution network Expansion and penetration, maintaining
good business relations with key retailors
• Alternate Channel set up
• Local market visibility and visibility at point of sale
• Team building and management

Responsibilities

• Handling Retail Channel Network of sellers / resellers
o Distributor Selection and Appointment
o Daily distribution channel operations management
o Maintaining inventory at distributor point
o Manage and facilitate collections from channel partners
as per company policy
• Achieving Targets (Distributor/Retailer & Executive wise)
o Value targets
o Volume targets
o Across product Mix
• Distribution network Expansion and penetration, maintaining
good business relations with key retailors
o Product display/visibility
o Product /Service availability
• Alternate Channel set up
o Set up alternate distribution channels for Mobile
products
o Drive business volume through these channel partners
• Local market visibility and visibility at point of sale
• Team building and management – manage and drive
performance through the team

• Coordination with various departments, like Operations, IT,
Mktg, Finance etc. to extend seamless customer onboarding
and activation experience
• Providing regular and timely feedbacks from Customers,
retailers and distributors
Experience Required
(Minimum relevant or equivalent
industry experience required

• 8 to 12 years of experience in managing consumer and partner
facing business
• Experience in both channel and direct sales
• Sales Planning & Performance Management experience with
territory handling experience
• Exposure to service-oriented product category with customer
handling skills will be an added advantage
• Experience in Handset OEM Distribution Channel Experience:
4+ years in Smart Phones/ Other Mobiles/ Operator Business
(General Trade) etc
• Local handset dealer network knowledge and exposure is key
• Expertise in handling large number of front-line sales forces
Academia

qualifications you deem necessary
for this profile.)
• MBA or Graduate with strong academic back ground
Personal Attributes
• Highly self-motivated and directed to work in unstructured start
up scenario to build and create business
• Strong relationship skills with trade and channel partners
• Keen attention to details with strong process management skills
• High bias for quality execution & speed
• Superior market knowledge with strong grip on customer and
competition
• Ability to motivate teams to work on common set goals
