Position: Area Sales Manager

Industry Preference: Cosmetics, Baby Care, Adult Care, Personal Hygiene (Sanitary

Pads, Diapers)

Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Area Sales Manager (ASM) with strong expertise in

General Trade (GT) and Modern Trade (MT). The ideal candidate should have prior

experience in handling MT teams, managing distributor networks, and building strong

trade relationships within the FMCG/Personal Care industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive sales growth in assigned territory across GT & MT channels with a major

focus on Modern Trade.

• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of sales officers/executives to achieve

business objectives.

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with distributors, key accounts, and

modern trade partners.

• Ensure effective secondary sales, merchandising, visibility, and promotional

activities.

• Monitor competitor activities and market trends to identify business

opportunities.

• Plan and execute route-to-market (RTM) strategies for GT and MT.

• Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.

• Ensure compliance with company policies, pricing, and discount structures.
