PCB Designing Intern
Job Summary
The PCB Designing Intern will gain hands-on experience in designing and prototyping printed circuit boards (PCBs) and supporting the embedded hardware engineering team. This internship provides an excellent opportunity to develop technical skills in PCB design and embedded systems, contributing to innovative product development.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the design and layout of printed circuit boards (PCBs) for various projects.
- Support PCB prototyping and testing to validate design functionality.
- Work with embedded hardware design teams to integrate PCBs into larger systems.
- Utilize Embedded C Programming for firmware development and testing on designed hardware.
- Document design processes and maintain accurate records of changes and updates.
- Collaborate with engineers to troubleshoot and resolve design or prototype issues.
Qualifications
- Familiarity with PCB Design tools and software.
- Basic knowledge of PCB prototyping processes.
- Understanding of Embedded C Programming principles.
- Knowledge of embedded hardware design concepts.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Education: Pursuing or completed a degree/diploma in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with PCB design software such as Altium Designer, Eagle, or KiCAD.
- Exposure to microcontroller programming or IoT hardware.
- Familiarity with schematic capture and circuit simulation tools.
- Previous internship or project experience in electronics design.
Experience
- Minimum Experience: 0 years (Freshers welcome).
- Relevant academic or project experience in PCB design, prototyping, or embedded systems is a plus.
- Must be a graduate or pursuing Electronics and communications
Environment
- Location: Chennai (on-site/in-office internship).
- Work is typically performed in an office and electronics lab setting.
- Standard working hours; may require occasional extended hours to meet project deadlines.
Salary
- INR 12,000 per month (fixed stipend).
