Job Summary

The Ab Initio Developer will play a critical role in designing and developing ETL workflows to ensure efficient data extraction, transformation, and loading. This position involves collaboration with team members to optimize processes and support business intelligence and analytics requirements.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop ETL workflows and processes using Ab Initio for data extraction, transformation, and loading from various sources.
• Perform data profiling, data quality analysis, and troubleshoot issues to ensure data integrity and consistency.
• Optimize Ab Initio jobs for improved performance, scalability, and maintainability.
• Develop and maintain data processing flows to support data integration for business intelligence and analytics needs.
• Collaborate with team members to implement and enforce best practices in data integration and ETL development.
• Provide technical support and troubleshoot issues in a production environment as necessary.
• Document processes, technical specifications, and maintain a knowledge base for future reference.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 2-6 years of experience in ETL development with Ab Initio.
• Proficiency in Ab Initio components, including GDE, EME, Express>It, Continuous Flows, and other relevant modules.
• Strong knowledge of SQL and database technologies such as Oracle, SQL Server, or DB2.
• Understanding of data quality principles and experience in data validation.
• Experience in performance tuning and troubleshooting ETL jobs.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
