Job Summary
The Program Manager will play a critical role in leading payment projects within the banking domain. The position is poised to drive successful project operations, facilitating communication among stakeholders, and directing transformation initiatives to enhance banking payment systems. The role demands a high level of expertise in managing projects efficiently and effectively while ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
Responsibilities
- Manage all project activities within the bank by scheduling and conducting meetings, preparing and distributing Minutes of Meetings (MoMs), and maintaining accurate project documentation.
- Deliver transformation programs across Core Banking, Payments, Treasury, Trade Finance, Limit Management Systems, and Compliance.
- Oversee regulatory initiatives aligned with KYC/AML, SWIFT, FATF guidelines, PCI-DSS, and internal risk frameworks.
- Lead stakeholder management and ensure seamless communication across all project participants.
- Oversee transformation activities and implement change management initiatives at a basic level.
- Coordinate and arrange training sessions for team members and stakeholders as needed.
- Perform advanced process analysis to optimize payment and gateway operations.
- Manage small-sized programs ensuring alignment with strategic goals and timely delivery.
- Utilize Business Intelligence tools and analytics to support project tracking and decision-making.
- Apply Business Process Management techniques to improve operational workflows.
Qualifications
- Educational Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
- Certifications: PMP (Project Management Professional) or Prince 2 certification.
- Experience: 15 to 18 years of experience in payments and gateway project management within the banking domain.
- Key Skills:
- Strong expertise in stakeholder management.
- Proficiency in advanced process analysis.
- Intermediate skills in Business Intelligence tools and Business Process Management.
- Experience in managing transformation activities and effective project communications.
