Responsibilities
 
 Leads/mentors Test Engineers and shares knowledge to make sure QA staff meets technical qualifications required for their positions
 Assists in coaching junior staff, by helping them to make decisions, solve problems, manage meetings and set goals, provides feedback on testing-related tasks, delegates and assigns testing responsibilities
 Works with clients in evaluating and implementing new technologies and offer strategies for new opportunities
 Assists management in setting the direction for quality assurance within the organization
 Ability to communicate technical aspects to people with non-IT background
 Ability to ensure that solutions developed by technical and product teams fit the business needs
 
 
Required Skills 
 
7+ years of experience in testing products functionally. Strong ownership. Ability to hire, train and build a QA team.
Release management - liaison engineers, product managers and other teams.
Test case management
Able to troubleshoot the issues and do RCA
Comfortable making sense of customer behavior from server logs, customer engagement platform, analytics platform.
Excellent knowledge of HTTP, server, websockets and rest API
Work closely with developers and product owners to understand the systems being tested.
Experience with testing tools for Android and iOS (i. e., Android Studio, Android SDK, Charles proxy/proxy man, ADB, DDMS, Xcode, etc.).
Comfortable with Linux, SQL, APIs, Postman
Comfortable with cloud platforms
Must have a background in the product-based industry.
Must have team management experience.
