Job Summary

The Magento Backend Developer will be responsible for developing and maintaining the server-side logic and database management for Magento-based eCommerce platforms. This role is crucial for ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front-end and will contribute to the overall success of the online store.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable backend architecture for Magento applications.
• Develop custom modules and integrate third-party services to enhance platform capabilities.
• Optimize Magento applications for performance, including database queries and server response times.
• Collaborate with front-end developers to ensure seamless integration and functionality.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to the Magento backend and infrastructure.
• Maintain documentation for system configurations, processes, and technical specifications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in backend development with Magento.
• Proficiency in PHP, MySQL, and experience with Magento 2.
• Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles.
• Familiarity with version control tools, preferably Git.
• Knowledge of web services and integrations (REST, SOAP).
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a remote team environment.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with front-end technologies like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Familiarity with cloud hosting solutions (e.g., AWS, Azure).
• Knowledge of Magento certification is a plus.
