JOB DESCRIPTION A. BASIC INFORMATION Job Title Taxation Specialist Direct Reporting Function Head Designation Sr Executive/ Assistant Manager Dotted line/any other reporting Function Head Department Finance Location OWC, Prabhadevi B. PURPOSE OF THE ROLE The role will enable end to end accountability of direct and indirect tax function. C. KEY ACTIVITIES Indirect Tax 1. Calculation of GST liability state wise to ensure accurate and timely tax calculation & paid to the government Treasury on or before due date 2. Must have handled multiple geographies 3. Filling of monthly GST returns state wise on or before the due date 4. Ensuring proper GST Credit taken state wise to avoid any working capital loss to the company 5. Reconciliation of GST credit and returns with the books of accounts and GSTR2B 6. Tracking of notices and other details and maintaining of updated records of notices and other tax litigations 7. Working knowledge of GSTR9 and GSR9C and can assist in preparing and filing of GSTR9 and GSTR9C 8. Familiar with GSTIN portal DIRECT TAX 1. Ensure filling of Income Tax return and tax document retention in relation to the direct tax compliance matters 2. Preparation of annual tax computation and knowledge of deferred tax and Advance tax working 3. Collation of information for Tax Audit and Finalizing Form 3CD with the auditors 4. Handling routine tax queries in respect of NRI taxation, Personal Tax, Corporate Taxation & GST 5. Filing of Form 15CA and 15CB and knowledge of DTAA 6. TDS working knowledge, filing of returns, TDS payment etc. 7. Familiar with Income Tax portal and reporting portal D. DISPLAY: KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE Educational Qualifications CA Additional Certifications/Trainings (desirable) Prior Experience 4-6 year experience into core tax with BFSI space (AMC preferred) Domain Knowledge Depth about norms, guidelines on the subject IT Skills Strong in Excel, Macros preferred, Experience with Cleartax or use of other Tax Reporting Software E.
