Job Summary

The Senior Sitecore Developer will be responsible for leveraging their extensive experience in Sitecore to develop advanced web software applications. The role will contribute to the overall goals of the organization by ensuring high-quality software solutions and by maintaining existing systems.

Responsibilities

• Design, code, and test new web software applications utilizing Sitecore.
• Identify and resolve software defects and maintain existing software systems.
• Create technical specifications and test plans to guide software development.
• Implement and optimize web services using REST or SOAP protocols.
• Collaborate in Agile environments, adhering to software development best practices.
• Develop UI front-end components using JavaScript, jQuery, HTML 4/5, and CSS3.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years in Sitecore development, with a preference for recent experience in Sitecore versions 9.X and 10.X.
• Technical Skills:
  • Proficient in .NET languages (VB.Net, C#, ASP.NET).
  • Strong knowledge of Visual Studio and TFS.
  • Experience with Sitecore Commerce is a plus.
  • Familiar with Model-View-Controller (MVC) frameworks and software design patterns.
  • Experience with continuous integration tools like Microsoft Release Management Studio, TeamCity, or Jenkins.
  • In-depth understanding of front-end technologies including JavaScript, jQuery, HTML 4/5, and CSS3.
• Soft Skills:
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and display tact and diplomacy.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge in Sitecore Experience Accelerator (SXA) and Email Experience Manager (EXM).

Experience

• At least 5 years of relevant experience specifically in Sitecore development.
