Head of D2C

 

As the Head of D2C Website Operations for our footwear startup brand, you will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end management of our online platform (built on Shopify). You will play a pivotal role in shaping our digital presence, optimizing user experience, and driving revenue growth through strategic initiatives.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Website Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive website strategy aligned with business objectives, focusing on driving traffic, enhancing user engagement, and maximizing conversion rates.
  • Website Management: Oversee all aspects of website operations, including content management, product merchandising, site performance optimization, and user experience enhancements.
  • Product Assortment Planning: Collaborate with product development and marketing teams to curate and showcase product assortments that resonate with target audiences and drive sales.
  • Digital Marketing: Lead the piece on digital marketing (including, but not limited to performance marketing campaigns) to integrate marketing campaigns, promotions, and initiatives into the website, ensuring a cohesive brand experience and maximizing ROI.
  • Customer Experience Enhancement: Champion initiatives to enhance the overall customer experience, including personalized recommendations, user-generated content integration, and responsive customer service.
  • Analytics and Reporting: Utilize web analytics tools to monitor website performance, track key metrics, analyse user behaviour, and identify opportunities for improvement and optimization.
  • Revenue Generation: Develop and implement strategies to drive profitable revenue growth through the website, including upselling, cross-selling, subscription programs, and strategic partnerships.

 

Qualifications:

 

  • Demonstrated ability (3+ years) to drive profitable revenue growth through D2C website channel and optimize conversion rates, preferably within the fashion or footwear industry.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and collaboration skills.
  • Creative thinker with a passion for innovation and continuous improvement.
  • An inherent knack for customer delight, product and performance marketing across touchpoints
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment and adapt to changing priorities.
