Job Summary

The SAP FICO Consultant will play a pivotal role in supporting and implementing SAP Financial Accounting and Controlling (FICO) solutions within an organization. This role is crucial for the accurate management of financial data, contributing to the overall financial health of the organization by ensuring seamless integration, reporting, and compliance with accounting standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform end-to-end implementation and support for SAP S/4 HANA projects focusing on Product costing and CO-PA.
• Demonstrate configuration skills in key areas including Cost Center Accounting, Profit Center Accounting, and Internal Orders.
• Manage the full cycle of Asset Accounting from acquisition to retirement, including month-end and year-end processes.
• Provide expertise in Contract Accounts, Lease Accounts, and Project Systems.
• Write Functional Specifications independently and develop Custom Objects from scratch.
• Execute business blueprints and document business requirements effectively for the technical process team.
• Facilitate cross-module integration of Controlling (CO) with Sales and Distribution (SD), Materials Management (MM), and Production Planning (PP).
• Configure Report Painter and SAP queries as required.
• Oversee controlling month-end and year-end activities.

Qualifications

• Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Technology or a related field.
• Technical Skills:
  • Deep expertise in SAP S/4 HANA CO application functionality, design, and implementation.
  • S4 HANA implementation and support experience including CCA (Cost Center Accounting), PCA (Profit Center Accounting), IO (Internal Orders), PS (Project Systems), and PM (Plant Maintenance).
  • Proficiency in user support, troubleshooting, and error resolution.
  • Strong knowledge of WRICEF (Workflows, Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms).
  • Experience with Interfaces using IDOCs, ALE, Proxies, EDI, and RFC.
• Soft Skills:
  • Strong business understanding with the ability to recommend SAP solutions for various business situations.
  • Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with additional modules in SAP beyond FICO.
• Knowledge in industry-specific solutions related to finance and accounting.

Experience

• A minimum of 3-6 years of relevant experience in SAP FICO, including support and implementations.

Environment

• The role is based in Bangalore, White Field. Work setting may involve both in-office collaboration and opportunities for remote work, depending on project requirements.
