Manager Design - RO - NCR 1

Job Summary

The Manager Design - RO - NCR 1 is responsible for overseeing the design and development of projects from conceptualization to execution. This role involves collaborating with various teams, managing consultants, and ensuring adherence to company guidelines and project timelines. The Manager will play a crucial role in enhancing processes and fostering team development to achieve organizational goals.

Responsibilities

• Project Conceptualization:

  • Utilize sound knowledge of Redevelopment By-laws and Development Control Regulations (DCR) to analyze and calculate project areas.
  • Draft end product designs for presentation to customers and translate design ideas into briefs for consultants and architects.

• Appointment of Consultants:

  • Appoint consultants based on proposal analysis and brief them on project requirements, expectations, and timelines.

• Project Coordination:

  • Collaborate effectively with teams such as liaison, projects, and sales to ensure consistency in product specifications across various documents.
  • Acquire necessary approvals for design and resources for project construction, track project progress, and address any design-related issues.
  • Attend to and mitigate queries during the construction process.

• Process Adherence:

  • Comply with company-defined guidelines and processes while adhering to project timelines.

• Process Improvement:

  • Identify and recommend improvements in processes and procedures to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and increase productivity.

• Learning and Development:

  • Identify development needs for self and team, and take steps to pursue training and education opportunities.

Qualifications

• Educational Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Design, or a related field.
• Technical Skills:
  • Strong knowledge of Redevelopment By-laws and DCR Regulations.
  • Proficiency in design software and tools.
• Soft Skills:
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Certifications: Relevant certifications in project management or design are preferred.

Experience

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in design management or a related field, with a focus on project coordination and consultant management.

Environment

• The position is based in Gurgaon and requires full-time, in-office work. The role may involve collaboration with various teams and stakeholders.
