Social Media Expert for D2C Skincare Brand

Job Summary

The Social Media Expert will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing the brand’s social media strategy to increase online presence and improve marketing and sales efforts. This role is critical in building a strong online community, engaging with customers, and enhancing brand awareness for a direct-to-consumer (D2C) skincare brand.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, execute, and manage the brand’s social media strategy across platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and emerging channels relevant to D2C skincare.
  • Create and curate engaging, visually appealing, and brand-aligned content, including posts, stories, reels, and videos.
  • Monitor, respond to, and engage with the community, influencers, and customers in a timely and authentic manner.
  • Analyze social media metrics and campaign performance to optimize strategies and report progress to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with the marketing, creative, and product teams to align on messaging, promotions, and product launches.
  • Stay updated on the latest social media trends, platform updates, and best practices in the skincare and beauty industry.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Hindi.
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms, trends, and analytics.
  • Creative mindset with a keen eye for aesthetics and details.
  • Basic knowledge of digital marketing and content creation tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Suite).
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Enthusiasm for skincare, beauty, and wellness industries.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with influencer marketing and partnerships.
  • Skills in photography, videography, or graphic design.
  • Familiarity with paid social media advertising and campaign management.
  • Previous experience with a D2C or e-commerce brand.

Experience

  • Minimum Experience: 0 years (Freshers welcome).
  • Open to candidates with prior internships or project work in social media, digital marketing, or related fields.
