MARKETING HEAD – LOGO INFOSOFT INDIA – JOB DESCRIPTION – SEP 2023

POSITION: Marketing Head - CaptainBiz

ORGANIZATION: Logo InfoSoft

LOCATION: India Corporate Office – Vashi, Navi Mumbai, Maharashtra

REPORTING TO: Chief Executive Officer, India

Logo Infosoft was established in 2016 as a joint venture between a publicly listed company on the

Istanbul stock exchange called Logo Yazilim and a US-based fund called GSF Software Labs. It currently

employs over 300 people in India across 63 cities and 20 states.

Logo's parent company, Logo Yazilim was established in 1984 and has been trading on the Istanbul

stock exchange since 2003. It provides productivity and competitiveness solutions specifically designed

for SMEs, including enterprise resource management, supply chain and demand chain automation,

customer relationship management, and business process design consulting. Logo has a worldwide

presence in the field of business applications with over 85,000 customers globally.

India has a vibrant economy with approximately 63 million registered MSMEs (Micro, Small and

medium-size enterprises) on track for digitization, mandated by GST (Goods and Services Tax). With

increasing momentum towards a digital, Logo Infosoft aims to replicate the same position of

dominance in India and help improve the core operations of SMEs under the aegis of its digital billing

product called CaptainBiz.

CaptainBiz is an easy-to-use SaaS product that helps businesses manage inventory, financial operations

and remain GST compliant.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES – OBJECTIVES & ATTRIBUTUES:

OBJECTIVES:

1. First Quarter –

1) Developing Product and Market Understanding

2) Identify Consumer Behaviour

3) Brand Positioning and Identity

4) Setup Analytics for Performance Measurement

2. Following Two Quarters –

1. Create Brand Communication and Launch Multiple Test Marketing Campaigns across Channels

(online and offfline)

2. Tighten Subscriber Communication

3. Scale up Test Marketing and Intensity of Campaigns

4. Optimize Campaigns and Communication to drive Subscriptions

3. Next Three Quarters –

1) Ensure Sustained Scalability and Optimization of Marketing and Branding Initiatives

2) Improve Subscriber Awareness, Logins and Engagement

3) Retain customers while increasing ARPU4) Target 50k Subscribers by Mar 2024

5) Target 200k Subscribers base by Mar 2025

ATTRIBUTES -

Must Have:

1. Hands-on experience in Marketing of Consumer Tech Products - should be able to think and

lead: Brand positioning | Brand identity |Brand communication,

2. Hands-on experience of running Digital Marketing (SEO, paid marketing, performance

metrics, content marketing),

3. Excellent Exposure to Growth Tools such as SEMrush and Analytics Tools such as Mix Panel,

Clever Tap, Google Analytics,

4. Hand-on experience in Writing Code (Development) at some point in time during his career

or during college as a freelancer.

Preferred:

5. Prefer one who is grounded with a strong perspective and exposure to human nature,

behaviour and mindset - well-read and exposed, with general understanding about the world

around him/her and the ability to have an intelligent conversation.

6. Having Strategic bent of mind, can think big, innovative and creative, driven by ideas and

experiments, capable of painting a growth story and able to pitch that story, to both internal

and external touch points.

7. Having Exemplary command over spoken English and Hindi. Additional Regional language

proficiency will be a bonus

Good to have:

8. Be good to have someone with prior start-up experience, having faced goals and challenges,

a self-starter of entrepreneurial nature, and track to build, mentor, lead teams to success.

QUALIFICATION: Master’s Degree in Management from reputed B-School and Bachelors in Computer

Sciences and/or Engineering

REMUNERATION: Remuneration will be matching the market criteria and industry standards
