Job Summary

The Senior Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) Backend Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing high-quality backend solutions within the Salesforce Commerce Cloud environment. This role is crucial in contributing to the organization's goals by ensuring robust and scalable commerce applications that enhance user experience and meet business requirements.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement backend functionalities for Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) applications.
• Develop and maintain APIs using OCAPI and custom integrations to existing systems.
• Utilize SFRA (Salesforce Reference Architecture) for building modern, scalable e-commerce applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Troubleshoot and debug applications, ensuring high performance and responsiveness.
• Manage code versioning and deployment using tools like Git and Jenkins.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC), SFRA, and pipelines.
  • Strong experience with Java/J2EE, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and Hibernate.
  • Familiarity with web technologies such as HTML5, JavaScript, Node.js, and AJAX.
  • Knowledge of database systems including Oracle, MySQL, and MongoDB.
• Soft Skills:
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in e-commerce solutions development is an advantage.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.

Experience

• Minimum of 5 years experience in backend development, preferably in Salesforce Commerce Cloud environments.
